Ideally located on the outskirts of beautiful Intelligent 'the Gateway to the Alpine ski resorts', we present cabins, caravan, powered unpowered camping sites for a fabulous holiday getaway for the whole family. With release access to our pool, play ground and walking riding tracks and only a concise distance to the ski resorts of 'Mt Gotham, Falls Creek Mt Buffalo. Set on five acres adjacent to the state park and right across the road from the Ovens River (great fishing spot), we present a peaceful holiday environment, with many things to do correct at your fingertips. Surplus linen for top bunks can be hired from reception. Additional linen for top bunk can be hired from reception. All towels, linen and bedding provided for the queen bed only. Excess linen for bunk beds can be hired from reception. Facilities available, and have healthy serviced amenities blocks. The park provides undercover, free outdoor BBQ's with picnic tables, a fridge and sink. We have packed laundry facilities available, with two amenities blocks, an enclosed in ground swimming pool, playground and games room with video games, table tennis pool table. There is a kiosk, ice and fire wood are also available. Children are most welcome to bring their bicycles with helmets and pets are permitted at the Manager's discretion. Fires are subject to fire restrictions on the day. We are always improving our park and its facilities. It is important ample to entertain the children to permit you some quiet time for yourself. The pool area and its lovely surroundings, have been designed with your comfort in mind, and so that carers can watch their small ones play safely in the toddler's pool, while the bigger people can use the large pool. We also have available wireless broadband internet, fire drums for hire (conditional), Laundry facilities, A drying room for ski gear, swapngo gas refills and pets are allowed at the manager's discretion. Vast fishing is to be had in the Ovens' river 100 meres away where you can find many spots to muse or meditate in seclusion, or head out bush walking or in your 4wd through the mountains and valleys of the Alpine National Park which surrounds our park. If you're the more adventurous type, there are also several cycling events to participate in. There is so much to see and do around Rational from day trips to historic Beechworth to paragliding over the spectacular valleys. The Great Alpine area offers a variety of microlight and scenic flights, ripple rafting, horse riding, winery tours, golf courses, bush walking, giant water slide, adventure playground, tennis, mountain biking, Nordic or downhill skiing boarding, gold panning, maze mini golf, The huge shed Ca, Trout fishing, ride the rail trail, visit the Deer farm, rose, berry, not or lavender farm or some rejuvenation at Avalon house.
