Harrietville is a village nestling in the ovens valley at the foot of mt hotham and is regarded as one of the states prettiest vacation areas. Take in the wineries, berry and nut farms. Day trips include mt hotham, anglers rest, mt buffalo, bogong, falls creek, beechworth and yackandandah. The area offers many attractions for each holiday maker: bushwalking, golf(close by), winter sports, painting, photography, gold panning, trailbike riding, off road driving, fishing, bikeriding, swimming or simply relax and enjoy.
