Nestled in Victoria’s pretty Kiowa Valley, our accommodation is set on three acres of picturesque native gardens bordering a pristine alpine stream, with views of Mount bogon. With 100’s of hectares of State Forest at our door there are many bird species that visit the property. Also there are hundreds of kilometers of 4wd tracks and bush walking trails. Bring your family and friends to relax in one of our six cozy two bedroom cottages, or treat yourself to a romantic midweek or weekend couples’ getaway in our spacious one bedroom spa suite. All units fully self contained with cooking facilities, air conditioning and balconies. Kiowa Country Cottages is ideally situated self contained accommodation within walking distance of the Mount Beauty resort area gateway to the exciting Alpine High Country activities and many wineries. Our four explicit seasons are a treat with spectacular Autumn colors and wildflowers and bulbs in spring. Come and explore our area and train like the professional cyclists. We can accommodate groups of up to 34 people. All cottages feature reverse cycle air conditioning, full kitchen, lounge and dining area, balcony, drying area and washing machine. All beds have electric blankets and an oil heater is provided for additional warmth. All set in 3 acres of relaxing gardens with plentiful bird life and a pristine alpine stream at the bottom of the property. All linen provided, wood fire with wood provided. Please take care when transient on alpine roads particularly at daybreak and dusk or at night when wildlife is maximum active. Swim in the Kiowa river, during summer this is a immense way to cool off, there are many swimming holes and picnic spots easily accessed.
